Some more work on the Bike...

So I got some garage space to work on the bike. Can't wait to have a garage. Haven't done anything spectacular yet, just want to post pictures for friends and let my wife practice photography. The good picture are hers.

Getting Started

The rear end apart (sort of) waiting for parts.

I cut out this piece to hide the wiring under the seat once I relocate my ECM and put on a pan seat. Ordered a Biltwell, we'll see how it fits on the bike.

I just cut out a rough shape and sandblasted it and got it curved by the tubes. I'll need to shape 'er a bit more.

That's about it. Getting new bars, seat, and hopefully some paint in the near future. The most work will probably be relocating the ECM. I'm going to fab up a new bracket for the battery tray I think and I'll put it beside the battery by the cover. Then next is a wire tuck to clean up the bike. Probably last though.

One Righteous Song

So motorcycle work has been slow, I'm still looking for a warm place to do work. But I was listening to Iron and Wine today at school and I forgot how rad this song is. Make sure your speaker are turned up.

Motor-sickle Blueprint

I sketched out a design of how I want my motorcycle to look by the summer hopefully. I'd like the straight drag pipes but I don't think anyone from my apartment to Redwater wants to hear me ride to work at 6 a.m with drag pipes. Wishful thinking. But hopfully I can get a pan seat, pre EFI rear fender and paint my tank. Soon I'll start with the tank lift and wire tuck which would clean up around the engine nicely and look more custom. As custom as a dork custom could look anyways.

First Post

First post. Look at this. I'll update progress on my motorcycle with pictures and whatnot. Maybe add some more things like songs, lyrics or random pictures.
